Hi John,

Whislt researching my Grandmothers family tree "De Marco" from Picinisco, Michel Vacca kindly gave me alot of details Antonio De Marco married Sabina Arcari, another relative Francesco Tobia married Domenica Arcari, as did Giovanni Pesce he married Antonia Arcari. I worked it out roughly that they all married about the mid 1700's so the Arcari girls could have been sisters to Lorenzo.

Since Arcari seems to be a common name in Picinisco , it may be of no help for you to know about my branch of the family.

I have a passport for my great grandfather Giuseppe Arcari which states that he was born in Picinisco on 9th April 1870 to Ginstino Arcari and Serafino di Cosimo. He ended up in Manchester, but he and his younger sister appear to have been two of many children from Picinisco indentured to a padrone to tour Europe and North America as street musicians. I have a photograph of them taken in Warsaw when they look to be around 8 and 10 respectively.
