vacca surname

Hi,could anyone help with the name Vacca,I have Maria Vacca born about 1871,married Pasquale Peter DeVito on 19th Jan 1896 at St Peters Italian Church in Clerkenwell,Holborn ,London,UK ref 1b/844,they lived at 30,Whitecross street,Holborn,London,UK.
Unsure if Maria was born in Italy,but I believe her father was Claudio a shoemaker in Italy.
DeVito/De vito/De vita was my grandmothers maiden name hence my interest,I have all the children of Maria and Pasquale born in London if it helps others,I believe the name Vacca could be a shortened version of the name Vaccaro is this correct ?.many thanks in anticipation Dave Carter.

Di Vito and Vacca are both found in Picinisco. A search of the parish census (not indexed or in order) might locate them.
Check with the church in Holborn. It should give the parish of baptism on their marriage record.

Maria VACCA was born in Picinisco on March 7th, 1870. She is the eldest daughter of Claudio VACCA and Colomba CAPOCCI. She had 4 brothers and a sister. The descent of one of his brothers still lives in Picinisco. I am related to Maria.
