Can you supply any more information than I already have about my Great-Grandfather Gaetona he came to London about 1882 and got married in St. Peters Italian Church, Clerkenwell on 11.4.1882 to Celeste Biancha. I have copies of there marriage and death certificates but would like to obtain their birth certificates please can you help.
When Gaetona came to England he was an artist's model. A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went to the Tate Britain in London where there is a bronze statue of Gaetona called The Sluggard, we are also aware of another painting called "Wedded" for which he posed.

I appreciate you posted this a long time ago, but I am the great great granddaughter of Gaetano Valvona. His son Jerome, had one child, a son, Gerald, he had 4 sons, and I am one of their daughters!
I have been actively researching the family history for about a year, but my cousins and uncles have spent several years doing so.
