I am still searching for my link with the Gizzi family.

I have Matilda Gizzi born 07 June 1858 parents Pasquale Gizzi and Fiorenza Capaldi.

Does anyone know the parents of Fiorenza Capaldi or her date of birth and marriage details.

Any information would be much appreciated

Stuart, I have info showing Fiorenza Capaldi, b. 29 Apr 1829, married 8 May 1856 in Picinisco, daughter of Giuseppe Filippo Capaldi and Maria Boni. This info is unverified, so use it with caution until some documentation is identified. Hope this helps.

Just quick look at my records.

I have a Giuseppe Filippo Capaldi b about 1805 and Maria Boni b about 1809

However their marriage is 28/Jun/1838. All their children born after 1838

So they would fit the age range for parents but Fiorenz'a birth date is nine years before marriage.

How accurate do you think is Fiorenza's birth date?
