Hello there, new to this, I believe that my family are out of Picinisco. My family first appear on the Scottish census in 1891 in the Glasgow/Paisley area. Looking for further info. and connections with their descendants. My great grandmother was Dorothea Gizzi who was married to Pietro Tobia and they had several children in Scotland after marrying in Wales.

I actually found Dorotea GIZZI born the 17/11/1865 girl of Antonio GIZZI and Lucia ROSSI.
If it is indeed your grandmother, I have the genealogy of the GIZZI (of Picinisco) starting from +/- 1600.

Can you give me more information on Pietro TOBIA, If it is of Picinisco, I also have all the documents to carry out research.

I am looking for a Maria Dorothea / Dorotea Gizzi, born 1864, daughter of Luigi Gizzi, who lived in the area just outside Picinisco called Campotrivolte. Her mother was Palma Margiotta. Does anyone have information about her?
