I am trying to pull together a family tree of the Demarco (di marco) family from Picinisco.
My Grandmother is Natalina Smith (Demarco) born in 1927 to Donato Demarco and Laura Demarco (Valente d.o.b approx 1899/1900). My grandmothers sisters are Esterina Yolanda demarco and Julie Demarco
Donato and Laura left Italy and moved to Swansea Wales in the 1900s. Donato had 6 or 7 sibblings, 3 who also moved to various parts of the UK and 1 who moved to the USA. The rest remained in Italy. My Grandmother can only recall the following names for the brothers, Raffaele, Francesco and Domenico.
Donato is also 1st cousin to Laura Valente.
Any information on the family lines would be etremely helpful in putting together my family tree. |
