Enjoyed our first visit to Picinisco recently to track down details of my maternal grandparents - Pasquale and Assunta Mancini - Assunta's maiden name Celini, Both born in or around 1861 and married and moved to East London, Uk in about 1882 then on to run an ice cream business in Great Yarmouth. Pasquale's parents were Tomasso and Flurinda (Capocci)
Would enjoy hearing from any relatives in Italy or the UK. More details and photos at http://www.jspeer.com/barrypendergast/PICINISCO_WEB/ |

Hello Barry,
Here some information on your ancestors. If you are interested, I can find you the information without problem. One needs a just little patience!
I appreciated your photographs. I saw my house there. It's a pity that we did not have the occasion our to meet in Picinisco. I remained there 3 weeks and I returned on May 1. I go back the 25/05 per one week there.
So long,
Michel VACCA

Michael
Greetings from Canada. Really appreciate the information - any more would be great too.
I'd love to have stayed longer but it was part of a very short stay in Italy after spending 3 1/2 weeks in Greece. Which is your house?
Barry
ps thanks for the note on the photos - have some video that I hope to edit and put up on YouTube |
